The exterior of The Lodge At Gooseberry Falls pays homage to the great log cabin structures that were once prevalent in this area. The stunning large, 16” diameter logs are, surprisingly, only 20% real wood! (Please refer to the environmentally respectful page of this website.) With the genuine White Pine outer layer and hand-hewn markings, this log siding provides a powerful visual impact every time owners visit. Beautiful stone accents the log exterior as well as the pillars of covered entrances. In addition, consideration and efforts have been made to tie in with the stonework that was used in the construction of Gooseberry Falls State Park. With these varied exterior materials, the entire project has a distinct yet natural and classic appearance. Not only do the exteriors look beautiful, they are also specifically designed for the variances of the North Shore climate. |
